FEEDBACK
REFLECTION
The process of working on the design research dissertation has
been both a challenging and enlightening journey. The whole
process has been a journey of learning and personal growth. It
was not just about completing an assignment, but about
discovering my ability to explore a subject in depth, stay
focused, and organise my thoughts clearly. Since I had to work
mostly on my own, it pushed me to stay motivated, think
carefully, and be disciplined throughout the process. There were
moments when I felt confused or unsure about how to proceed, but
the tutorials and feedback sessions were really helpful. The
feedback from Mr. Asrizal helped me improve my work. Over time,
I started to feel more confident in my research and my ability
to complete the dissertation successfully.
One of the hardest but most important part of the process was
writing the literature review At first, I felt overwhelmed
by the large amount of information I had to read and understand.
It seemed like a lot, but once I broke it down into smaller steps,
it became much easier to manage. Writing the literature review
helped me learn how to find useful sources, pick out key ideas and
link them to my research. It was interesting to see how different
studies could come together to support my topic. This part of the
dissertation taught me the importance of using trusted sources,
giving proper credit to authors and keeping my work original.
Learning how to manage citations and avoid plagiarism was an
important skill that I know will help me in future projects.
Looking back, I feel proud of what I have achieved. Completing the
dissertation was not easy, but it taught me how to manage large
tasks, stay organized and keep going even when things got
difficult. There were times when I wanted to give up, but I
learned to stay focused on my goals and trust the process. More
importantly, I have grown more confident in sharing my ideas and
accepting feedback, knowing it helps me get better. This
experience taught me the importance of patience, hard work, and
continuous learning. The skills I have gained from this project
will definitely be useful in my future work and personal life.
This dissertation was more than just an assignment for me. It was
a learning experience that helped me become a better problem
solver and a more confident person.
